Minutes of Twentieth Monthly Meeting

The 21th Monthly Meeting.

The 21th Monthly Meeting of our Association was held on 6th May, 2024 in premises of Senior Citizen Association Site at 5.00 PM.
The discussions and resolutions are given below;

Minutes of the Meeting

1. The members who have birthday in the month of May were greeted a HAPPY BIRTHDAY by all the members of the Association.

2. The President requested V. Narasimha Rao Garu to share the details about shed construction till date. He explained all the challenges faced and achievements from the beginning till the date in detail.
He further gave an estimation of the remaining work; such as doors and windows, window grills, flooring, electricity, painting work, bath rooms etc. may go up to Rs. 3,50,000.00.

3. The President requested V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu to share the details about collections and expenditures from day One (3rd February, 2024) to till date. The Finance secretary and treasurer V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu gave a brief note of donations collected and expenses incurred for the said period.
Donations collected Rs. 5,10,000.00
Loan advanced by 4 members Rs. 1,60,000.00
Total collections Rs. 6,70,000.00
Total expenditure Rs. 6,70,000.00
Balance Deficit Budget (-) Rs. 1,60,000.00

4. Doctor Prabhu Garu gave an advice to organize a chit so that, the first month collection can be utilized for association building and the remaining months is distributed to chit members.
President forwarded the proposal among members.
After all discussions, it was decided to organize the chit for 5,000.00per month. Number of months depends on number of members joining the chit. The first chit is given to Association. Draw will be held from 2nd month onwards. The amount received by winner in the draw increases gradually by Rs. 500.00 per month so that the last person also cannot be in loss. Association will not charge any commission from second month onwards. A detailed wite paper can be submitted after finalizing number of members.
Some of the members happily accepted and gave their names immediately.

5. Dr. Prabhu Garu gave one more suggestion about Cloud contribution with the help of social media.
V. Venumohan Rao Garu came forward to study it and implement it.

The President presented a vote thanks to all the members for attending the meeting in spite of hot summer day.
